T1 Faker LoL was playing Nautilus mid lane, while Keria LoL was on the Thresh support. This enabled JDG LoL to rely on objective control to win the game, rather than individual player performances.

JDG mid laner Knight LoL had a great game on Annie, making great flank engagements on top of the standard for his lane dominance. That’s when the top laner for T1 Zeus LoL, found an opportunity for a flank engagement on his Orn pick thanks to Keria LoL tactical warding. Using his ultimate ability he completely took Gen G LoL bot laner Ruler LoL out of the fight.
This enabled T1 bot laner Gumayusi LoL to walk up and exhibit wonderful teamfight execution, ending up with a quadra kill. T1 jungler Oner LoL stole the penta kill, but T1 LoL was ready to end the game. But this initiative led to T1 LoL winning thanks to great vision control and teamfight execution. With Gumayusi LoL getting excited on Jinx, T1 LoL once again broke JDG LoL base in 23 minutes.
T1 vs JDG LoL Game Four Analysis
With a 2-1 lead in this best-of-five series, T1 Oner LoL thought it was a good time to bring out the Kindred pick once again. T1 LoL made the same mistake of pairing it with Nautilus in the mid lane for T1 Faker LoL. JDG LoL took full advantage of this, with their early game aggression netting them a 2000 gold lead at 15 minutes. T1 Oner LoL once again found out the hard way that late game decision-making will be harder than usual because he is playing Kindred. Top laner 369 LoL put a lot of pressure on him with his Gragas pick. And every time Kanavi LoL used his Wukong ultimate ability, JDG LoL got a kill.
Knight LoL joined in on his Annie pick, creating so much objective control by just existing. This made life miserable for Gumayusi LoL, whose Jinx was not equipped to handle all these threats. The game ended in 31 minutes without JDG LoL even slaying the Baron Nashor buff, since they were winning teamfights so hard. With The series tied at 2 a piece, this set the stage for the deciding game 5. Silver Scrapes is where individual player performances usually mean the difference between a win and a loss.
T1 vs JDG LoL Game Five Analysis
The stage was set, with JDG Knigh LoL picking his signature Sylas pick. He teamed up with Kanavi LoL and their early game aggression resulted in T1 Faker LoL giving over first blood on his Nautilus. The first major teamfight at the Rift Herald saw Gumayusi LoL get pinched into a bad situation by 369 LoL, who landed a great Gragas ultimate ability. This resulted in JDG Ruler LoL securing 4 kills, and a sizable 3000 gold lead for JDG.
The following team fight went in favor of JDG LoL, but T1 LoL managed to secure the third drake, denying JDG soul point. T1 LoL started feeling the pressure and baited JDG LoL into a team fight around the Baron Nashor. What followed suit was a display of pure teamfighting excellence. T1 LoL came out on top, with Gumayusi LoL securing 3 kills and the Baron buff. This gave T1 LoL a 4000 gold lead that translated into another drake fight. T1 Oner LoL died for that objective steals, and JDG LoL immediately threatened the Baron at 31 minutes.
This is when the legendary T1 Faker LoL displayed subpar late game decision-making, by initiating a fight with his Nautilus while at a numbers disadvantage. He didn’t get the priority target which was JDG Ruler LoL, and this cost T1 LoL the Baron. With 40 seconds left on the Baron buff, T1 once again went for it. But another flank engagement from T1 Zeus LoL thanks to great macro coordination and tactical warding, was their last chance. Luckily, JDG Ruler LoL still had his Flash summoner spell and made it out alive. This helped JDG LoL close out the game and the series, with a 3-2 score.
