LoL Patch 13.10 Support Item Changes Explained
Patch 13.10 is shaping up to change the current support LoL meta and reshape the history of League of Legends as we know it.
The support role in League of Legends is undergoing major changes with patch 13.10. The 13.10 LoL patch notes are coming from PBE to live servers in a few days, and Riot Games will have their work cut out. If you are wondering when does patch 13.10 come out, well it should be on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. That is according to the official Riot Games support site for League of Legends, which contains the LoL patch schedule. We already covered the ADC item and Champion changes coming to LoL patch 13.10. Same with the Lethality item changes. But these support item changes will shift the lol meta entirely and deserve a separate article before all the new lol tier lists come out.
LoL Patch 13.10 Support Item Changes
Imperial Mandate will not be a Mythic item anymore. The new legendary item for support players will cost 2300 instead of 2500 gold. The item will not give 200 health anymore, but will have 55 ability power instead of 40. To make this a reality, Riot Games are changing the build path for it to include a Fiendish Codex instead of a Kindlegem. The item passive remains the same, so we will surely see it often on ARAM Ashe builds.
Moonstone Renewer is having its price reduced from 2500 to 2300. The Mythic item for supports is also having its ability power reduced from 40 to 35. The bigger changes here are the new mythic passive which will now grant 5 ability haste for each legendary item purchased and the new passive. The reworked Starlight Grace passive will work like this. If you shield or heal an ally, the other nearest ally will receive 20-35% of the total heal amount and 30-40% of the total shield amount. If there are no nearby allies, the main target will be healed for an additional 15-25% and shield for an additional 20-30%.
Echoes of Helia is a new Support Mythic item on LoL Patch Notes 13.10
Echoes of Helia is the new Mythic support item in season 13 of League of Legends. The item gives 30 ability power, 200 health, 15 ability haste, and 125% base mana regeneration for a cost of just 2300 gold. The passive called Soul Siphon is where the real value hides with this item. Damaging an enemy champion with abilities or basic attacks will give the user up to 2 Soul Shards. When healing or shielding an ally, these will be then consumed to heal for an additional 20-100 health and deal up to 400 damage to the nearest enemy champion. The item will also give 3 ability power for every 25% base mana regeneration purchased, and thats not even the mythic passive of the item. Echoes of Helia will also give 5 ability haste for every legendary item completed.
Zeke’s Convergence will have a different build path after LoL patch 13.10. The passive, however, is not undergoing changes. The item will no longer give Mana or Base health regeneration. Its armor has been reduced from 35 to 25, while its health has been increased from 250 to 350. The item will now cost 200 gold less, going from 2400 to 2200. Zeke’s Convergence will now also build out of a new component item called Lifewell Pendant. Locket of the Iron Solari will also build out of it, having its total cost reduced by 200 and its build path changed. As compensation, the item won’t give 20 ability haste anymore.
LoL Patch Notes 13.10 Support Watchful Wardstone Rework
Watchful Wardstone is also undergoing changes. Our Watchful Wardstone guide should help you understand why this item is so powerful despite the low pick rate. Watchful Wardstone will now grant the Blessings of Ixtal Passive before transforming into Vigilant Wardstone. But you can only purchase the item once your support item is finished. And it will no longer increase the number of wards you can have on the map. The big thing here is the evolution to Vigilant Wardstone. Apart from spending 1100 gold to purchase Watchful Wardstone, you will now have to spend an additional 1200 gold for it to transform to Vigilant Wardstone. And the only thing you will receive from it will be 100 extra health points.
Staff of Flowing Water will become a lot stronger after lol patch 13.10. The total cost of the support item has been lowered from 2300 to 2100. That’s mostly due to the build path undergoing changes. The new version of the item will give 35 instead of 50 Ability power, but it will also give 5% movement speed. The Rapids passive has also been buffed. Now every time the user will heal or shield an ally, they have 35 to 55 bonus ability power. This is up from the previous version which gave 25-45.
LoL Patch Notes 13.10 Support Item Buffs
Shurelya’s Battlesong is having its cost reduced from 2500 to 2300, but its also losing 5 ability power. The bonus movement speed its passive called Motivate gave has also been reduced, from 20% to 20% each time you heal or shield an ally. It’s active called Inspire was supposed to have its bonus movement speed buffed by 5%, but the change got reverted.
The new Redemption is losing the 15 ability haste it used to give. But the item has gained 50 health points, and more importantly, its healing and shielding power has been more than doubled. It was increased from 6% to 15%. The active portion of the item is also undergoing changes, as it can now be cast globally since there is no cast range. The cooldown has been increased from 90 to 120 seconds to compensate.
Chemtech Putrifier is having its cost reduced from 2300 to 2100. But the item is also having its ability power reduced from 40 to 35. Base mana regeneration has been reduced to 75% from 100%. At the same time, healing and shielding power has been increased from 8 to 10%.
LoL Patch Notes 13.10 Pro Play Meta Support Items
Mikael’s Blessing will have a new build path. This will result in the item now giving 250 health, but losing the 50 magic resist and 15 ability haste it used to give. The item also has a new passive now that will grant a percentage of health regeneration for each percentage of mana regeneration purchased. We will see more of this item with Neeko Jungle becoming a thing. Or more Milio being picked.
Ardent Censer will now cost 2100 gold instead of 2300 but that is because it will have a new build path. Instead of giving 60 ability power, the legendary support item will now give just 35. But that will be compensated with increased base mana regeneration and 5% movement speed. The big kicker here is the passive adjustments, which will give a lot more on-hit damage and attack speed.
